Dome Valley Raceway Winter Shootout - Sunday Coverage

Sunday opened with perfect weather for test and tune. Junior Alimoot tried run quick time of the event in the Power Plus buggy after the crew thought they figured out everything ailing the car. They managed a super quick 3.55 pass, but fell off the next session and decided to pack the car up and save it for another day. A few of the Mexico based Jeeps also packed up early and skipped out out on the ensuing Pro racing action. Mike Brock finally unleashed Extreme and set low ET of the event with a 3.336 pass on the turbo only while testing for the Pro ATV class.

Pro Car

A combined Pro Car class saw Mike Carlson make it to the final in his t-bucket Altered State car against Carlos Carrasco in Kchton Jeep. The ex-Wild Willie t-bucket altered came out on top just running a little bit closer to his dial and with a slightly better light than Carrasco. Carlson got hooked up with some Lucas Oil products from Brock Racing.

Pro ATV

Pro ATV also saw combined field of trikes and quads dominated by Mings Racing and Brock Racing entries. It would be Caleb Mings coming off his Pro Gambler win the night before that would make it to the final against Brad Olson on his mean 4 stroker. Both competitors had already had a victory this weekend, but it was Mings who would double up on his three wheeler. Caleb grabbed some more Lucas Oil products from Brock Racing to end the weekend.
