Sand drag racing continues through Sunday, April 14, at the third annual April Fuel’s Day event at the Soboba Casino/Motor Complex on the Soboba Indian Reservation near San Jacinto.

There is a mandatory drivers meeting before racing begins. On Sunday, the childrens’ test and tune begins at 9 a.m. followed by 9:30 a.m. eliminations rounds, followed by elimination rounds for other racers with the final race round starting at 7 p.m.

Admission is $10 a day for adults and ages 13 and up, $5 for children ages 8 to 12 and free for younger children. Spectators may bring their own lawn chairs, but some seating is available. On Sunday, the gates open at 8 a.m. Qualifying events began Friday, April 12.
