Teddy Clark took his daily down the sand strip in Mears, Michigan at West Michigan Sand Dragway to lay down the benchmark for (PS/D) Pure Street Diesel with a 6.413 ET. Teddy’s ride is a 2005 Dodge Ram Dually with a 5.9 Cummins, S&B cold air intake, FASS lift pump, and Smarty tuner.

Upon Chris Gerber’s new entry to the (C/D) C/Dragster records, it was brought to our attention that another car had run a quicker ET in the C/Dragster class, but this one was from nearly two decades ago. Jon Sorg originally achieved this ET record under the SSDRA record system, however the classification was slightly different than the new WSDN (C/D) C/Dragster class. Being that the SSDRA operated under the same 1% backup rule, we simply had to confirm that the dragster at the time complied with the new C/Dragster rules. Sorg’s naturally aspirated VW dragster fit the bill and now takes the (C/D) C/Dragster ET record.
